No-Place-Construction (2005)
"No-Place-Construction was one of the most powerful moments of the festival: squeaky clean images of a better life are eye-catchingly and relentlessly pounded in between those dancing - a theater about the blazing brightness of living in the dark."
Stuttgarter Zeitung
"No-Place-Construction" was originally contracted by ECLAT, a contemporary music festival in Stuttgart, to be part of the music theater project Großstadt nachts (The City at Night) initiated by Hans-Peter Jahn. In "No-Place-Construction" four worlds collide two worlds of real dance and two worlds in film. The night stimulates individuals starring out into the open triggers diverse emotions. Frightful, fatalistic feelings wrapped up in memories, wishes and desires. "No-Place-Construction" treats the night as an imaginary space, as the decisive point between day and night, between disappearance and visibility, between death and life, between reality and fiction.
