"The dancers execute Chyles's choreography with the highest presence and concentration, don't shy injuries and give their last bits in this dance of death... a stunning choreography which shows lust and grief at the same time."
Stuttgarter Zeitung
"Crossings 2" is a continuation of Fabian Chyle's expression of the subjective nature of time. This second variation of the performance cycle examines the human mechanisms that kick in when known structures dissolve and one is forced to react.
Although change in itself is free of judgement, it is not objective - somebody changes or is changed. The consequences are unpredictable. And change opens new dimensions and options while closing the door on others.
"Crossings 2" starts lightly with a Polka, but the carefree atmosphere will not last long. The dancers are driven in their dance: they flirt, drink and serve Schnapps, laugh and touch each other. As the music changes to a nightclub atmosphere the mix and friction of styles, forms and emotions will heat up leading to excess and the unknown.
